Omaha Beach "the bloody" is undoubtedly the most famous of all the landing beaches. It is on this American sector of operations that the number of Allied deaths was the highest.

Cherbourg

1h - 83 km from the castle

Above all a maritime town, Cherbourg-Octeville has the largest artificial harbor in the world and has several ports: marina, military port, commercial port and fishing port. Granville

Monte-Carlo is not the only one to have its rock. In Normandy, Granville has this privilege, which earned it its flattering name of "Monaco du Nord". A thalassotherapy center and seaside resort, Granville has a sense of celebration, as evidenced by its very famous carnival every year!

Mont St Michel

1h20  - 104 km from the castle

Islands, cliffs, beaches and dunes form a succession of areas rich in a wide variety of flora and fauna.

Pointe de la Hague
